The Legacy of Flora and Airto documentary

Sneak peek of a documentary about famous Brazilian jazz musicians, Flora Purim and Airto Moreira. This segment was shot in Telluride, Colorado during the 2006 Jazz Festival where Flora and Airto were the Guests of Honor.

Sunlight Digital was hired to film live performances on several stages, panel discussions, surrounding scenery and activities throughout Telluride during the Jazz Festival. In the course of this project, we've also had the privilege to shoot intimate interviews and home visits in the Los Angeles area with some of the greatest names in jazz fusion.

Other guest performers to celebrate with them included such well knowns artists as Herbie Hancock and Larry Coryell.

Other intervews we are shooting has included George Duke, Wayne Shorter, Alphonso Johnson.

We've filmed performances of well-known and up-and-coming artists at Mayan Theater, House of Blues, Roxy Theater, Sony/BMG Studios, and other respected venues.
