I saw this film at the IGFF festival Totally Awesome, WHY because it has passion, love, family all in a real setting of average America. A multicultural experience that makes you laugh and cry. I love it as you can tell!

I just saw the teaser and I want to see the movie.
When will it be available? It looks like it is full of energy. I think it will appeal to elderly as well as young girls. Has the lead been in anything else? She looks familiar and is really pretty.

I was fortunate to catch a screening of Alondra Smiles and it's a really sweet story that made me laugh several times. But I didn't know it was going to make me cry too. I'd love to take my nieces when it comes out. There are so few wholesome family movies these days. Thanks for making this one.

This movie looks darling. It's a perfect coming of age story, and it showcases an ethnic minority that hasn't been in the movie spotlight in a long time. From the brief trailer, the extremeties between Alondra and Tatiana are plainly obvious, and their interest in the same boy makes the story much more interesting. Who will he choose: Spoiled and snobby Tatiana, or down-to-earth, simple Alondra? I can't wait to watch it and find out!

I'm glad to see a film where latinos are protrayed in a positive manner. All the characters played the roles really well. I think we all know or knew a Tatiana and a Alonodra in our lives. Great Job! I hope the film makes it Huge!! Adios.

This movie had such an amazing cast and they really brought the characters to life. I felt that I could relate to each one on some level. Alondra Smiles was not only entertaining but it incorporated a little drama, a little comedy, and a little romance. All essential ingredients to make a movie really entertaining. I can not wait to get a copy in stores and see it on the big screen. This movie is sure to be a blockbuster hit!

Can I pay someone to make a movie that all ages can enjoy and has both class and decency? OK, now I don't have to! Alondra Smiles was a gem; it's good nature was reflected from the writing all the way through to each and every actor - yes, even Alondra's cousin, if only in that her character was in such contrast to the rest.

The storytelling was easy enough for children to digest, yet had much for adults to chew on. It touched on certain social issues, but without exploitation. Living in Los Angeles can be beautiful and challenging; we live in one of the greatest amalgamations of culture, class and ethnicity on this planet. With that in mind, and judging from comments posted above, a movie like Alondra Smiles becomes an important work in the community to help bridge the divides that we all face.

And anything that opens up conversation between neighbors, between friends, and most importantly, between parents and children deserves to be accessible to the public. Do you remember what it was like to be a teenager? Well its your son or daughter's first time. You can see the path they are on but they can't, not yet. Alondra Smiles is a reminder of the loving family support that we all need.

A beautiful movie indeed!

I loved this movie. The characters were so real and believable. The girl Alondra was adorable and sweet. Her cousin Tatiana was soo terrible to Alondra and ended up getting exactly what she deserved. I found myself loving every minuite of this movie. A great family movie.

When watching this movie, it is not about any one culture, but about one of the most important things in life---FAMILY. It is all positive. No negativity, no stereo-types of any sort. Just a wonderful movie where you can just enjoy and go with your family and not worry about the movie rating. Everyone can attend and not be offended, Highly recommended.

I was one of the lucky ones to have already seen Alondra Smiles and was really impressed by the film. It is heartwarming, entertaining and funny! It represents what is *good* about being a teenager. It reminds us all of what "teenage first love" was like, and more importantly, is a great reminder of how important FAMILY still is in young lives.

I also loved the fact that although it portrayed a Latino family, the story line of being honest to oneself, to family and duty, and to the celebration of life (and enduring loss) could be applied to anyone willing to take a honest look at what all our lives have to offer rather than groveling in what we feel we don't have!

Thanks for making a positive film that reminds me to be grateful for what I do have in life...and for doing it in a fun way!

It's refreshing to see honesty and heart in independent projects. No gimmicks. It's a film for everyone. The new talent assembled for this film delivers on every level. "Alonda" pulls your heart-strings and the humor is subtle. It's a great story. I hope it continues to do well. I hope to see these young actors in further projects.

This film can be great hit (like Juno). It has a great story line and it appeals to the entire family. I specially ejoyed the fact that people get to see Latinos in a different light (we are not all gang members and drug dealers). I hope that this film gets the recognition it deserves. Best wishes.
