This is a day in the strife.

Ever have one of those days when you just want to burn everything to the ground, and stab everyone you see?
Today wasn't one of those days. But seriously folks, I wouldn't truly wish harm on another human being, but in my mind I'm kicking you all in the genitals until you begin to choke on your own fluids.
Now, I enjoy fantasy violence as much as the next guy - but horror and action movies just aren't what they used to be. Sure some of that garbage was campy and (now) cliche, but wasn't it better when it played on your fears and paranoia, instead of presenting everything to you on a silver platter - no thought process. No fill in the blanks. No imagination required. But maybe I'm just a little old fashioned like that. Pretty much just in a few ways am I old fashioned, not like "wow, the good ole days when a wife cooked her husband dinner every night, and slapping her around wasn't a crime." Back before sanitation laws were enacted, back when Dean Martin was cool - not just some alcoholic who crooned into microphones, singing shitty love songs.
But hey, this is just my opinion - which happens to be the only opinion I really give a shit about. But please, feel free to chime in with your two cents.
Which reminds me, you know why it's called "your two cents" ... because that's all an opinionated prick like me thinks your opinion is worth - even hobos will turn down pennies.
This is my first rambling - possibly my last. Who knows what tomorrow will bring - and who really cares? So hey, be good. But if not. Be good at it.
