Christopher Carter Sanderson is an acclaimed stage director in New York who founded Gorilla Repertory Theater, Inc. (www.gorillarep.org) in 1992, directing most of its well-loved productions since then. Going back for an MFA in Directing from the Yale School of Drama in 2005, Mr. Sanderson has since expanded his reputation as a reliable director of classical and Shakespearean theater to include work on film, new plays and the opera. Having written several spec film scripts and a produced treatment, Mr. Sanderson is now at work directing a filmed Shakespeare project with Gorilla Rep for release on the Internet. He is the recipient of the Bernard T. Moxley prize and a graduate with honors of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Author, "Gorilla Theatre" (Routledge, 2003).
